Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has set the internet on fire with his bold statements on X (formerly Twitter). After sharing a cryptic note about a lawyer-turned-gangster, a big politician and a superstar following the demise of Baba Siddique, RGV’s latest remark on the ongoing Salman Khan-Lawrence Bishnoi saga calls for Khan to issue a strong “counter threat” to the 31-year-old gangster.

In a recent tweet, Ram Gopal Varma – who is known for his bold and controversial statements, said he hopes Salman Khan will rise to the occasion and respond to Bishnoi’s looming threat. The ‘Rangeela’ director-writer wrote on X, “I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise, it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR… SK owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPERHERO in comparison to B.”
In another post, RGV tweeted about the casting if and ever a film is made on Larence. The filmmaker wrote, “If a film is based on the BIGGEST GANGSTER , no film maker will cast a guy who looks like DAWOOD IBRAHIM or CHOTA RAJAN ..But here , I don’t know a single FILM STAR who is more GOOD LOOKING than B (sic)”
Khan-Bishnoi feud
For the unversed, the Salman Khan-Lawrence Bishnoi saga began following a poaching incident during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan. Salman was accused of illegally hunting and killing two blackbucks. This resulted in widespread outrage in the country, particularly among the Bishnoi community, for whom the blackbuck holds sacred significance. Lawrence – who was only a child when the infamous blackbuck poaching case occurred, allegedly vowed to take revenge on Khan for killing the deer.
